Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ProdBlie uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one does, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work and cannot be turned off. They support authentication and CSRF protection for signed-in users. We keep this category as small as possible.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Covers both our own first-party event tracking and, when an admin configures a measurement ID, Google Analytics. These run only with your consent and stop as soon as you withdraw it.
Cookies we set
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pb_session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to your account. HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict. | 7 days (rolling) |
| pb_csrf | Strictly necessary | Cross-site request forgery protection for forms and API calls. | 7 days |
| pb_consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie-banner choice so we can apply it server-side. | 6 months |
| pb_sid | Analytics | First-party visitor id used to count unique visitors and de-dupe repeat views. Set only after you grant analytics consent. | 1 year |
| _ga, _gid, _gat, _ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics. Set only when a measurement ID is configured and you grant analytics consent. Cleared when you withdraw it. | Up to 2 years |
Things we store in your browser (not cookies)
- prodblie-cookie-prefs — your cookie-banner choices, held in localStorage. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
Managing your preferences
You can review and change your cookie choices at any time. Use the control below or the Manage Cookies link in the site footer. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without strictly necessary cookies.
Third-party cookies
When enabled by consent, Google Analytics may set its own cookies governed by Google’s policies. Admins may also configure custom head/body scripts (e.g. chat widgets); those are loaded only after you grant analytics consent.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. Material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date above.
